Baggallini

I found these great products at a bookstore. One is a phone case with a pocket for money and your ID and the other is a bag that folds back into its own pouch.

Here are the specifics of each:

Flip Phone Case:
*light weight, water resistant nylon
*wear it over your shoulder, around your waist or clip it to another bag
*zippered compartment for credit cards, ID, money, keys and lipstick
*belt clip, 3" strap and detachable, adjustable 52" strap
*3" x 4.5" x 2"
*weighs 4 ounces

Bag:
*made of lightweight, durable, water-resistant 70D ripstop nylon with PVC backing for extra durability
*easily folds back into its own 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" pouch
*zips open to a 15"T x 18"W x 6"D shopping bag with zippered top
*weighs 8 oz

The Baggallini was the perfect bag for taking on the airplane. When our luggage was 2 pounds overweight, I pulled it out and stuffed some stuff in it to avoid the crazy $150 overweight charge.

Deer

I was getting a wet rag to wash Alisa's face after breakfast when I saw deer out the back window of my sister's house in Oregon where we've been visiting for nearly a month. She lives in an awesome neighboorhood with lots of trees and common green spaces between houses where anyone can walk or play. I called to those who were awake in the house--Alisa, my nephews Michael and Daniel and my mom (who just arrived last night for a visit)--to come see the deer. More and more deer entered my view--I think there were 6 or 7 in all. They slowly made their way down the common area behind my sister's house as we took pictures of them with my mom's camera. I didn't get any pictures with my camera because the battery was being charged and I figured by the time I retrieved it, the deer would be gone and I would have missed seeing them so long.
