Mmmm

Is there any ice better than Sonic's crushed ice? And is there any cherry limeade better than one from Sonic? I think not!

Speaking of drinks, I made homemade lemonade the other day for the first time. It is delicious! One of the guys that has been building our fence brought me a whole bag of lemons from the tree in his yard. Next on my list is to make a lemon pie or lemon bars. Mmmm!

mmmmm... sonic cherry limeade (is there any other?)... i must confess... i'm a fan. my favorite... is when bits of lime come shooting up the straw and sit on my tounge! or... the 'shucka shucka' of the ice when there is only a small amount of juicy goodness left...

i bet that if Jesus were here today... he would turn water into CHERRY LIMEADE! and it would be the best cherry limeade ever!

but then i suppose it would put sonic out of business, and Jesus would get a bad rap like walmart. or michael bolton... only with better hair.

Well yes, I did have a good birthday, thanks. It was a bit different since I am far away from friends and family (no party this year).

Craig and I went out to eat breakfast (a treat for me since I only do that like twice a year). When we arrived home we were happy to see that the guys who built our fence had just started a bonfire of the wood scraps. We stood by that for a bit. It was a chilly morning so the fire felt really good.

Then I worked from home until about 5pm and we went out for dinner at Garfield's. The food was better than normal and the Chocolate Souffle dessert--which is why I chose to go there--was sooooo delicious.

We ended the day by seeing "The Prestige" in the theater. It's a good movie that you could watch more than once to see what you missed the first time.

The next day (Saturday) we went maternity shopping for the first time and both enjoyed it very much (Craig was surprised by how much he enjoyed it b/c he normally hates shopping). I got lots of cute & comfy clothes (pics will be up later)!
