Gas Update
Gas is now $3.58 and available at some stations (others have no gas). It could be a couple of weeks before all the stations in this town have gas all the time again. At least the price is back down!

Im heading down to Destin on the 27th of September. Do you think the gas availability will be better by then? I would hate to come down there and have problems getting gas all the way down from north Alabama.

It could still be hit or miss then with some stations having gas and others not, so I'd fill up before you come and then again before you get too near to empty. You could call a hotel in Destin closer to the time and ask about the gas situation there. I wouldn't be too worried about it though...I think the worst is over.
